Welcome to the Greater Rochester Committee forSingle Adoptive Parents (SAP). We offer friendship and fun events for single parents and adopted children from around the world. Since 1988, SAP has provided a secure, supportive atmosphere that celebrates our children’s diversity and addresses the unique challenges and opportunities that come with single parenting.

SAP Events. There’s something for everyone! Holiday parties, picnics, camping, cultural events, and dinners out. Events include family activities and parent-only gatherings. Click here for a current listing. Members are notified of any changes to this schedule via e-mail.

Affordable memberships. SAP relies on its membership base to pay the cost of administration, cabin rentals, etc. We keep membership dues to a minimum and offer two options to meet our members’ needs:

Regular membership: $ 25.00 per year
Minimal membership: $10.00 per year (For parents with babies or very young children who expect to attend only one or two events per year.)
